Travelers searching for affordable Ethiopian Airlines flights should compare more than the initial airfare.
Consider:
A lower initial fare can have more restrictive conditions.
There is no universal booking day or search technique that guarantees the lowest Ethiopian Airlines airfare.
Classic Fares does not guarantee that every Ethiopian Airlines fare offered through our platform is the lowest fare available through every seller or distribution channel.
Ethiopian Airlines flight prices can vary according to:
A fare found during one search may no longer be available during a later search.
Classic Fares determines its customer-facing retail price, which may differ from Ethiopian Airlines' direct price or pricing available through another travel seller.
Ethiopian Airlines tickets can have different conditions according to:
Differences can involve:

Ethiopian Airlines markets its Business Class product as Cloud Nine.
Depending on route and aircraft, eligible Cloud Nine benefits can include:

1 piece up to 7 kg
2 pieces up to 7 kg each
The published maximum dimensions for an eligible cabin-baggage item are approximately:

Maximum total dimensions per standard piece:
158 cm / 62 inches
This is particularly important for Classic Fares customers traveling between North America and Africa.
The allowance on the actual ticket remains controlling.
On many eligible international piece-concept itineraries, Economy passengers can receive:
2 checked pieces up to 23 kg each
However, baggage systems can vary according to route.
Travelers should not automatically apply the North American allowance to every Ethiopian Airlines itinerary worldwide.
The baggage allowance displayed on the actual ticket governs.
Cloud Nine provides an enhanced checked-baggage allowance.
Depending on route and baggage system, Ethiopian Airlines publishes Business Class allowances that can involve:
For U.S. and Canada travel, the standard published allowance is:
2 × 32 kg
The actual itinerary should always be checked.
For U.S. and Canada itineraries, Ethiopian Airlines currently publishes maximum standard total dimensions of:
158 cm / 62 inches per piece
calculated from length, width and height.
Oversized baggage can be subject to additional conditions or charges.
Ethiopian Airlines states that baggage above 32 kg / 70 lb per individual piece is not accepted as a normal checked piece under its U.S./Canada rules.

On eligible piece-concept routes, current published additional allowances include:

Eligible ShebaMiles members can redeem miles for qualifying award travel on Star Alliance member airlines under program conditions.
Award availability, mileage requirements, taxes, fees and restrictions remain controlled by ShebaMiles and participating airlines.

An Ethiopian Airlines flight number does not necessarily mean Ethiopian Airlines operates the aircraft.
Always review the operating carrier.

Voluntary cancellation eligibility depends on:
A ticket can be:
The actual ticket rules govern.
Mandatory passenger and consumer rights remain unaffected where legally applicable.
Refund eligibility depends on both the fare and circumstances.
It is important to distinguish between:
Voluntary Cancellation — the traveler chooses not to travel.
Airline-Initiated Cancellation or Qualifying Disruption — Ethiopian Airlines or another applicable operating carrier cancels or materially changes transportation.
Different passenger rights can apply to airline-initiated disruptions.
A voluntarily restrictive or non-refundable fare does not eliminate a passenger or consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
Classic Fares may provide eligible assistance, but Ethiopian Airlines, an underlying supplier, the merchant of record and applicable law can affect how a refund is processed.
For qualifying transportation to, from or within the United States, applicable U.S. passenger-refund protections can apply when an airline cancels a flight or makes a qualifying significant change and the passenger does not accept the applicable alternative.
A restrictive voluntary-cancellation rule does not eliminate an independently applicable statutory refund right.
If you believe you may miss or have already missed an Ethiopian Airlines flight, seek assistance promptly.
No-show conditions can affect:
Missing one segment can potentially affect subsequent segments on the same ticket.
Classic Fares — Independent Travel Platform | Ethiopian Airlines Flight Assistance: 1-877-658-0203

Requirements depend on:
Travelers should verify current official government requirements for the complete itinerary.
After completing an eligible Ethiopian Airlines flight reservation through Classic Fares, review the confirmation carefully.
Verify:
If something appears incorrect, contact Classic Fares promptly.
Searching for an Ethiopian Airlines flight does not mean the flight has been reserved.
Selecting an itinerary or entering traveler information also does not necessarily mean a ticket has been issued.
Payment authorization alone should not be treated as proof of successful ticket issuance.
An itinerary should be treated as ticketed after the applicable ticketing process has been successfully completed and appropriate confirmation has been provided.
Certain eligible Ethiopian Airlines inventory may be available through specialized travel-industry distribution sources.
Depending on the specific fare, conditions can differ from another fare available on the same flight.
Restrictions can relate to:
Classic Fares does not represent that every bulk, negotiated, private or specially sourced Ethiopian Airlines fare is automatically non-refundable or non-changeable.
The actual fare conditions applicable to the selected ticket govern.
Before authorizing your purchase, verify:
For partner-operated flights, review the operating carrier carefully.
If something is unclear, ask before authorizing the transaction.
