Ticketing & Reservation Process

Effective Date: October 2026
Last Updated: October 2026

At Classic Fares, operated by Flight Fare Booking Inc., our reservation and ticketing process is designed to provide customers with clear travel information, material booking conditions, pricing information and an opportunity to authorize a transaction before it is completed.

Classic Fares is an independent travel services platform and travel-services intermediary.

Depending on the travel service requested, Classic Fares may obtain travel options through:

  • Airlines;
  • Contracted consolidators;
  • Travel suppliers;
  • Global Distribution Systems (GDS);
  • Travel APIs;
  • Bulk or negotiated fare sources;
  • Dealers;
  • Wholesalers;
  • Distribution platforms;
  • Cruise suppliers;
  • Car rental suppliers; and
  • Other legitimate travel-industry sources.

Classic Fares currently uses three primary reservation methods:

1. Online Flight Booking

2. Quote-Based Car Rental & Cruise Reservations

3. Booking and Travel Assistance by Phone

The exact process depends on the travel product and service requested.

1. Online Flight Booking Process

Eligible flight reservations may be searched and booked through Classic Fares online booking functionality.

Travel inventory is dynamic. A flight appearing in search results is not guaranteed to remain available until the applicable reservation and ticketing process has been successfully completed.

Step 1 — Search for Flights

Customers begin by entering their travel requirements.

Search information may include:

  • Origin;
  • Destination;
  • Departure date;
  • Return date;
  • One-way or round-trip travel;
  • Number of passengers;
  • Passenger type;
  • Cabin preference;
  • Preferred dates; and
  • Other applicable search criteria.

Classic Fares may obtain available flight options through travel-industry sources including suppliers, contracted consolidators, GDS systems, APIs, bulk or negotiated inventory and other authorized distribution sources.

Step 2 — Review Available Flight Options

Available options may be displayed based on the customer's search criteria.

Depending on the itinerary and available information, flight results may include:

  • Airline;
  • Operating airline;
  • Origin and destination;
  • Departure time;
  • Arrival time;
  • Travel date;
  • Number of stops;
  • Connection information;
  • Cabin;
  • Fare category;
  • Customer-facing price;
  • Available baggage information;
  • Refundability;
  • Change conditions; and
  • Other relevant booking information.

Customers should review the selected itinerary carefully before continuing.

2. How Classic Fares Pricing Works

Travel inventory may originate from several legitimate travel-industry sources.

However:

Classic Fares determines the retail price offered to its customers.

The retail price offered through Classic Fares may therefore differ from:

  • An airline-direct price;
  • An underlying supplier price;
  • A consolidator price;
  • Another OTA's price;
  • Another travel agency's price; or
  • A price offered through another distribution channel.

Unless Classic Fares expressly offers a particular price-match or lowest-price promotion, a displayed Classic Fares price should not be interpreted as a representation that it is the lowest price available through every sales channel.

3. Select Your Flight

After reviewing available options, the customer selects the preferred itinerary.

Customers should consider more than price.

Material information may include:

  • Travel dates;
  • Airports;
  • Flight times;
  • Connections;
  • Operating carrier;
  • Cabin;
  • Fare type;
  • Refundability;
  • Change restrictions;
  • Baggage;
  • Applicable restrictions; and
  • Other relevant conditions.

Certain low-cost, basic, bulk, private, negotiated, consolidator or specially sourced fares may carry more restrictive conditions.

4. Traveler Information

After selecting a flight, customers provide information required for the reservation.

Depending on the itinerary, this may include:

  • Full passenger name;
  • Date of birth;
  • Gender where required for travel processing;
  • Telephone number;
  • Email address;
  • Billing information;
  • Passport information where applicable;
  • Travel-document information where applicable;
  • Frequent-flyer information where provided; and
  • Other information reasonably required for the reservation.

Passenger Name Accuracy

Passenger names should correspond appropriately with the traveler's applicable government-issued travel document.

Customers should carefully verify spelling before submitting the reservation.

Airline rules concerning name corrections vary, and post-ticketing corrections may:

  • Be restricted;
  • Require supplier approval;
  • Require ticket reissuance;
  • Involve airline charges;
  • Involve fare differences; or
  • Involve an applicable Classic Fares professional service fee.

5. Review Before Payment

Before authorizing payment, customers should have an opportunity to review material information applicable to the selected transaction.

This may include:

  • Passenger name;
  • Origin;
  • Destination;
  • Travel dates;
  • Flight itinerary;
  • Total customer-facing price;
  • Fare type;
  • Refundability;
  • Cancellation conditions;
  • Change conditions;
  • Available baggage information;
  • Classic Fares charges where applicable;
  • Supplier-related conditions where applicable; and
  • Other material restrictions.

Customers should not authorize the transaction until they are satisfied with the information presented.

6. Restricted, Bulk & Negotiated Fares

Certain flight options available through Classic Fares may originate through:

  • Bulk-fare sources;
  • Contracted consolidators;
  • Private fare arrangements;
  • Negotiated inventory;
  • Promotional inventory;
  • Specialized fare dealers;
  • GDS sources;
  • Travel APIs; or
  • Other travel-industry channels.

Depending on the specific fare, restrictions may include:

  • No voluntary refund;
  • Limited refundability;
  • No voluntary cancellation;
  • Limited changes;
  • No changes;
  • Fare difference requirements;
  • Travel-credit restrictions;
  • No-show restrictions;
  • Baggage restrictions; or
  • Other fare-specific conditions.

Not every bulk, private, negotiated or consolidator fare is automatically non-refundable or non-changeable.

The conditions applicable to the specific fare selected by the customer govern.

Material restrictions applicable to the selected fare should be presented or made available before purchase.

Nothing concerning a restricted fare eliminates a mandatory refund, cancellation or passenger right that applicable law does not permit to be waived.

7. Customer Authorization

After reviewing the selected itinerary, pricing and material conditions, the customer decides whether to proceed.

Classic Fares may document authorization through an appropriate method, including where applicable:

  • Online acceptance;
  • Electronic acceptance;
  • Written confirmation;
  • Email confirmation;
  • Telephone authorization documented through appropriate procedures; or
  • Another legally permissible authorization method.

A preliminary search, quotation, itinerary discussion or incomplete checkout does not constitute authorization for a materially different transaction.

8. Payment Authorization

The customer authorizes the agreed transaction amount.

Classic Fares does not treat authorization for one price as authorization for a materially higher or otherwise materially different price.

If the applicable price materially changes before completion, the revised amount should be presented to the customer before additional payment is processed.

The customer may:

  • Accept the revised transaction; or
  • Decline it.

9. Payment Processing

Depending on the transaction structure, payment may be processed by one or more authorized parties.

These may include:

  • Flight Fare Booking Inc./Classic Fares;
  • An airline;
  • A contracted consolidator;
  • A travel supplier;
  • A ticketing or fulfillment source;
  • A payment processor; or
  • Another appropriately disclosed party.

In certain transactions, the agreed total may appear as more than one charge.

Where split processing is used, the combined authorized amount should correspond to the total amount agreed to by the customer, except where the customer later separately authorizes another service or transaction.

10. Reservation Request vs. Ticket Issuance

A flight reservation request and an issued airline ticket are not necessarily the same thing.

After customer authorization, the applicable transaction may be submitted for reservation and ticketing.

Ticket issuance may be completed through:

  • An airline;
  • Contracted consolidator;
  • Ticketing supplier;
  • Fulfillment partner; or
  • Another authorized travel-industry source.

A payment authorization, booking request, itinerary or reservation record does not by itself guarantee successful ticket issuance.

The flight should be treated as ticketed after the applicable ticketing process has been completed and appropriate confirmation has been provided.

11. Flight Confirmation

Following successful processing and ticket issuance, customers may receive confirmation information.

Depending on the reservation, this may include:

  • Passenger name;
  • Confirmed itinerary;
  • Airline;
  • Airline confirmation/reference code;
  • E-ticket number;
  • Flight number;
  • Departure information;
  • Arrival information;
  • Fare information;
  • Applicable booking conditions; and
  • Other relevant reservation information.

Customers should review the confirmation promptly.

If you believe information is incorrect, contact Classic Fares as soon as reasonably possible:

12. Price or Availability Changes During Ticketing

Air travel inventory can change rapidly.

Between initial search and successful ticketing, changes may occur to:

  • Fare availability;
  • Booking class;
  • Flight availability;
  • Schedule;
  • Seat availability;
  • Supplier inventory; or
  • Price.

If a material change occurs before completion, Classic Fares may present:

  • The updated option;
  • A different available fare;
  • Another flight;
  • Another itinerary; or
  • Another available travel solution.

The customer is not required to accept a materially different transaction.

Where additional payment is required for a materially different transaction, customer authorization should be obtained before processing that additional amount.

13. Flight Booking by Phone

Customers may also contact Classic Fares for assisted flight reservations.

Flight Reservations

1-877-658-0203

Telephone booking can be useful for:

  • New flight reservations;
  • Complex travel;
  • Flexible-date searches;
  • International travel;
  • Family travel;
  • Special travel requirements;
  • Existing booking assistance; and
  • Multi-city itineraries.

14. Telephone Flight Booking — Step 1: Tell Us Your Requirements

The customer provides travel requirements to the Classic Fares representative.

Information may include:

  • Origin;
  • Destination;
  • Travel dates;
  • Number of travelers;
  • Passenger ages where relevant;
  • Cabin preference;
  • Preferred departure time;
  • Preferred airline;
  • Number of stops;
  • Baggage requirements;
  • Date flexibility;
  • Budget considerations; and
  • Other relevant preferences.

15. Telephone Flight Booking — Step 2: We Search Available Options

The Classic Fares representative may search eligible travel-industry sources for available flight options.

These sources may include:

  • Supplier systems;
  • Contracted consolidators;
  • GDS;
  • APIs;
  • Bulk inventory;
  • Negotiated fares;
  • Private inventory; and
  • Other legitimate travel-industry sources.

The representative may present one or more available options based on the customer's requirements.

16. Telephone Flight Booking — Step 3: Material Information

Before the customer authorizes the selected transaction, the representative should communicate material information reasonably relevant to the selected option.

This may include:

  • Airline;
  • Route;
  • Travel date;
  • Departure and arrival times;
  • Connections;
  • Cabin;
  • Total quoted customer-facing price;
  • Fare type;
  • Refundability;
  • Change conditions;
  • Important cancellation conditions;
  • Available baggage information;
  • Applicable Classic Fares charges; and
  • Other material restrictions.

The customer decides whether to proceed.

17. Telephone Flight Booking — Step 4: Customer Approval

Classic Fares may request appropriate confirmation that the customer wishes to proceed.

Depending on the transaction and process, authorization may be documented through:

  • Telephone authorization;
  • Written authorization;
  • Electronic acceptance;
  • Email confirmation;
  • Recorded authorization where legally permissible and appropriately disclosed; or
  • Another suitable method.

Where additional electronic confirmation is required, ticketing may remain pending until that authorization is received.

18. Telephone Flight Booking — Step 5: Payment

After customer approval, payment is processed or facilitated according to the applicable transaction structure.

Authorization for the agreed transaction does not constitute authorization for an unrelated or materially different charge.

If a material price increase occurs before ticket issuance, the customer should be informed and given an opportunity to accept or decline the revised transaction.

19. Telephone Flight Booking — Step 6: Ticketing

After authorization, Classic Fares submits or facilitates the applicable transaction for ticketing through the appropriate travel-industry source.

The reservation remains subject to successful ticket issuance.

20. Telephone Flight Booking — Step 7: Confirmation

Following successful issuance, the applicable confirmation information is provided through email or another agreed communication method.

Customers should verify:

  • Passenger name;
  • Airline;
  • Flight;
  • Airport;
  • Travel dates;
  • Departure time;
  • Arrival time;
  • Routing; and
  • Other material reservation information.

21. Multi-City Reservation Process

Classic Fares handles multi-city flight reservations by telephone.

For multi-city reservations:
Call 1-877-658-0203

Multi-city travel may involve:

  • Multiple destinations;
  • Multiple airlines;
  • Open-jaw itineraries;
  • International connections;
  • Different fare classes;
  • Different cabins;
  • Separate fare components;
  • Stopovers; or
  • Complex routing.

A Classic Fares travel professional can research available options based on the customer's requirements.

The same general principles apply:

  1. Customer provides travel requirements.
  2. Classic Fares researches available options.
  3. Material itinerary and pricing information is presented.
  4. Customer selects an option.
  5. Applicable material fare conditions are communicated.
  6. Customer authorizes the transaction.
  7. Payment is processed or facilitated.
  8. Ticketing is submitted through the applicable source.
  9. Confirmation is provided after successful ticketing.

22. Car Rental Request-a-Quote Process

Classic Fares provides car rental booking assistance through a request-a-quote process.

Submitting a car rental request does not itself create a confirmed rental reservation.

For car rental assistance:
1-855-529-7002

23. Car Rental — Step 1: Submit Your Requirements

Customers may provide:

  • Pickup location;
  • Return location;
  • Pickup date;
  • Pickup time;
  • Return date;
  • Return time;
  • Vehicle category;
  • Number of travelers;
  • Driver information;
  • Driver age where relevant; and
  • Other rental preferences.

24. Car Rental — Step 2: We Source Available Options

Classic Fares may source available rental options through:

  • Car rental providers;
  • Dealers;
  • Wholesalers;
  • Travel suppliers;
  • Distribution systems;
  • APIs; or
  • Other legitimate travel-industry sources.

Availability is dynamic.

25. Car Rental — Step 3: Quotation

Customers may receive one or more available options.

A quote may include available information concerning:

  • Rental provider;
  • Vehicle category;
  • Pickup location;
  • Return location;
  • Rental dates;
  • Rental period;
  • Customer-facing quoted price;
  • Mileage conditions;
  • Cancellation conditions;
  • Prepayment requirements;
  • Deposit information where known; and
  • Other material rental conditions.

A quotation is not a confirmed reservation.

26. Car Rental — Step 4: Customer Acceptance

The customer reviews the proposed rental option and decides whether to proceed.

Submitting the original quote request does not itself authorize Classic Fares to charge the customer for a rental reservation.

Where payment is required, the customer should accept the applicable price and material booking conditions before the transaction is completed.

27. Car Rental — Step 5: Supplier Confirmation

After customer acceptance, Classic Fares submits or facilitates the applicable reservation request through the relevant provider or supplier.

Availability may remain subject to supplier confirmation until the booking is finalized.

28. Car Rental — Step 6: Confirmation

Following successful supplier confirmation, applicable reservation information is provided to the customer.

This may include:

  • Rental confirmation number;
  • Rental provider;
  • Pickup location;
  • Return location;
  • Pickup/return dates;
  • Vehicle category;
  • Applicable rate information; and
  • Material rental conditions.

29. Car Rental Pickup Requirements

A confirmed rental reservation does not eliminate requirements imposed by the rental provider.

At pickup, the provider may require:

  • Valid driver's license;
  • Minimum driver age;
  • Acceptable payment card;
  • Security deposit;
  • Identification;
  • Insurance or protection documentation where applicable;
  • Additional-driver information; or
  • Other provider requirements.

Classic Fares does not control the rental provider's final vehicle-release decision.

30. Cruise Request-a-Quote Process

Classic Fares provides cruise reservation assistance through a request-a-quote process.

Submitting a cruise inquiry does not create a confirmed cruise reservation.

For cruise reservation assistance:
1-855-529-7027

31. Cruise — Step 1: Submit Your Preferences

Customers may provide information including:

  • Destination;
  • Departure port;
  • Sailing dates;
  • Number of travelers;
  • Passenger ages where relevant;
  • Cruise duration;
  • Preferred cruise line;
  • Preferred cruise type;
  • Cabin category;
  • Budget; and
  • Other relevant preferences.

32. Cruise — Step 2: Cruise Research

Classic Fares may research eligible cruise options through:

  • Cruise operators;
  • Cruise suppliers;
  • Wholesalers;
  • Dealers;
  • Consolidators;
  • Distribution systems; and
  • Other legitimate travel-industry sources.

Availability and pricing may change during the research process.

33. Cruise — Step 3: Quotation

Depending on availability, customers may receive one or more cruise options.

A quotation may include:

  • Cruise line;
  • Vessel;
  • Departure port;
  • Sailing date;
  • Duration;
  • Itinerary;
  • Cabin category;
  • Customer-facing quoted price;
  • Deposit requirement;
  • Payment schedule;
  • Cancellation conditions; and
  • Other relevant information.

Receiving a quote does not itself create a cruise reservation.

34. Cruise — Step 4: Review Conditions

Customers should carefully review the applicable cruise conditions before proceeding.

Cruise reservations may have significant cancellation restrictions, particularly as the departure date approaches.

Depending on the selected cruise product, conditions may involve:

  • Refundable deposit;
  • Non-refundable deposit;
  • Partial cancellation penalty;
  • Percentage-based cancellation penalty;
  • Future cruise credit;
  • Final-payment deadlines; or
  • Full cancellation penalty.

The actual conditions applicable to the selected cruise reservation govern.

35. Cruise — Step 5: Customer Approval

The customer decides whether to accept the applicable:

  • Cruise option;
  • Price;
  • Cabin category;
  • Deposit requirement;
  • Payment schedule; and
  • Material reservation conditions.

An inquiry or quote is not authorization to complete a materially different transaction.

36. Cruise — Step 6: Deposit or Payment

Where required, the customer authorizes the applicable deposit or payment.

Any separate Classic Fares professional service fee applicable to the transaction should be disclosed before customer authorization.

37. Cruise — Step 7: Supplier Confirmation

Classic Fares submits or facilitates the accepted cruise reservation through the applicable supplier or provider.

A cruise reservation should be treated as confirmed after the applicable supplier confirms the booking and confirmation information is provided.

38. Cruise — Step 8: Review Your Confirmation

Customers should review:

  • Passenger names;
  • Cruise line;
  • Ship;
  • Sailing date;
  • Departure port;
  • Cabin category;
  • Itinerary;
  • Deposit;
  • Outstanding payment;
  • Final-payment deadline;
  • Cancellation schedule; and
  • Other material booking information.

Contact Classic Fares promptly if you believe there is an error.

39. What Is Not a Confirmed Reservation?

The following should not automatically be treated as confirmation of a travel reservation:

  • Performing a travel search;
  • Viewing a price;
  • Receiving a flight result;
  • Receiving a car rental quote;
  • Receiving a cruise quote;
  • Submitting an inquiry;
  • Speaking with a representative;
  • Discussing an itinerary;
  • Providing traveler information;
  • Requesting travel research;
  • Starting an online checkout;
  • Providing incomplete authorization;
  • Requesting a payment link;
  • Beginning payment without successful completion; or
  • Asking Classic Fares to hold or investigate an option.

The applicable travel product should be treated as confirmed only after the relevant reservation or ticketing process has been successfully completed and appropriate confirmation has been provided.

40. Payment Authorization Does Not by Itself Guarantee Confirmation

Payment authorization may be one step in the reservation process.

It does not necessarily mean that:

  • An airline ticket has been issued;
  • A rental supplier has confirmed the vehicle;
  • A cruise operator has confirmed the cabin; or
  • The requested inventory remains available.

Supplier confirmation and successful fulfillment may still be required.

If an authorized transaction cannot be completed, the applicable payment or authorization will be handled according to the transaction circumstances, payment status and applicable law.

41. Price & Availability Before Confirmation

Travel inventory may change rapidly.

Until confirmation, changes may occur to:

  • Flight price;
  • Flight availability;
  • Booking class;
  • Rental rate;
  • Vehicle availability;
  • Cruise price;
  • Cabin availability;
  • Schedule;
  • Promotion;
  • Taxes;
  • Supplier conditions; or
  • Other booking information.

Where a material change occurs, Classic Fares may offer the revised option.

The customer is not required to accept a materially different price or travel product.

42. Customer Responsibility Before Approval

Before approving a transaction, customers should carefully review the available material information.

Depending on the product, this may include:

  • Traveler names;
  • Travel dates;
  • Airports;
  • Ports;
  • Pickup locations;
  • Return locations;
  • Flight itinerary;
  • Cruise sailing;
  • Cabin category;
  • Vehicle category;
  • Total customer-facing price;
  • Fare or rate conditions;
  • Cancellation rules;
  • Refund conditions;
  • Change conditions;
  • Deposit requirements;
  • Payment schedule;
  • Baggage information; and
  • Other material restrictions.

If information appears incorrect, do not knowingly proceed without addressing the issue.

43. After Confirmation — Flights

Customers should retain their confirmation information.

A flight confirmation may include:

  • E-ticket number;
  • Airline confirmation/reference code;
  • Passenger information;
  • Flight itinerary;
  • Travel dates;
  • Flight times; and
  • Applicable fare information.

Customers should verify the itinerary promptly.

44. After Confirmation — Car Rentals

A car rental confirmation may include:

  • Reservation number;
  • Rental provider;
  • Pickup location;
  • Return location;
  • Pickup/return date and time;
  • Vehicle category; and
  • Applicable rental conditions.

Customers remain responsible for satisfying provider requirements at pickup.

45. After Confirmation — Cruises

A cruise confirmation may include:

  • Cruise confirmation number;
  • Cruise operator;
  • Ship;
  • Sailing date;
  • Itinerary;
  • Cabin information;
  • Deposit information;
  • Payment schedule;
  • Final-payment deadline; and
  • Cancellation conditions.

Customers should review these conditions carefully because cruise cancellation penalties can increase as the sailing date approaches.

46. Post-Booking Changes

Once a reservation has been confirmed, requested changes are subject to the applicable product conditions.

A requested change may involve:

  • Supplier penalties;
  • Airline charges;
  • Fare differences;
  • Rental rate differences;
  • Cruise price differences;
  • Additional taxes;
  • Cancellation charges; and
  • Classic Fares professional service fees.

Where a new Classic Fares professional service fee applies, the applicable fee should be disclosed before the customer authorizes that paid service.

Customers should review the Classic Fares Post-Booking & Post-Ticketing Service Fee Policy for additional information.

47. Cancellations

Customers wishing to cancel an eligible reservation should contact Classic Fares promptly.

Cancellation eligibility depends upon the applicable:

  • Product;
  • Fare/rate;
  • Supplier conditions;
  • Timing;
  • Reason for cancellation; and
  • Applicable law.

A cancellation request should not be considered completed until appropriate cancellation confirmation has been received.

48. Refunds

Refund eligibility may depend upon:

  • Travel product;
  • Fare or rate conditions;
  • Supplier terms;
  • Cancellation circumstances;
  • Whether the customer or provider initiated the cancellation;
  • Merchant-of-record arrangements where relevant; and
  • Applicable law.

A product described as non-refundable for voluntary cancellation may have no refundable product value after confirmation.

A voluntary non-refundable condition does not override a mandatory refund or passenger right arising under applicable law.

Customers should review the Classic Fares Refund & Cancellation Policy for additional information.

49. Third-Party Travel Consultation

Classic Fares may provide independent professional travel consultation for eligible reservations originally booked through another provider.

For travel consultation:
1-877-658-0203

This service is separate from the original booking transaction.

Eligible assistance may include:

  • Reviewing an existing reservation;
  • Reviewing available fare or product conditions;
  • Researching alternative flights;
  • Rebooking consultation;
  • Cancellation guidance;
  • Refund consultation;
  • Travel-credit assistance;
  • Supplier communication assistance;
  • Disruption assistance; and
  • Other eligible professional travel services.

50. Consultation for Reservations Not Booked With Classic Fares

A traveler may request assistance even if the original reservation was made:

  • Directly with an airline;
  • Through another travel agency;
  • Through another OTA;
  • Through another ticketing provider;
  • Directly with a rental company;
  • Through a cruise operator; or
  • Through another travel provider.

Classic Fares does not become the original seller, airline, rental provider, cruise operator or original booking agency merely because we provide professional assistance.

51. Travel Consultation Fees

A Classic Fares professional consultation fee may apply.

Where a fee applies:

  • The nature of the service should be identified;
  • The scope of the paid service should be explained; and
  • The Classic Fares professional fee should be disclosed before customer authorization.

Payment for professional consultation compensates Classic Fares for the agreed service.

It does not guarantee a particular outcome from an independent travel provider.

52. No Guarantee of Supplier Action

Where Classic Fares submits, facilitates or assists with a request involving an independent provider, Classic Fares cannot guarantee that the provider will:

  • Confirm a particular itinerary;
  • Approve a refund;
  • Approve a waiver;
  • Permit a change;
  • Reinstate a ticket;
  • Extend a travel credit;
  • Provide requested inventory;
  • Approve a name correction;
  • Provide a particular vehicle;
  • Provide a particular cabin;
  • Waive a cancellation penalty; or
  • Grant another requested exception.

Provider-controlled decisions remain subject to provider rules and applicable law.

53. Customer Consent & Transaction Control

Classic Fares' reservation process is designed to distinguish between:

  • Searching;
  • Quoting;
  • Customer approval;
  • Payment authorization;
  • Supplier processing; and
  • Final confirmation.

Where required for the applicable transaction, customer authorization should be obtained before:

  • Completing the original purchase;
  • Processing a separately chargeable Classic Fares service;
  • Accepting a material price increase;
  • Purchasing a materially different itinerary;
  • Changing a confirmed reservation where payment is required; or
  • Performing another separately chargeable professional service.

54. Customer Service

Classic Fares provides access to eligible customer-service functions 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

  • Underlying supplier pricing;
  • Consolidator pricing;
  • Another OTA's pricing; or
  • Another travel seller's pricing.

A TRAVEL SEARCH, QUOTATION, TELEPHONE DISCUSSION, BOOKING REQUEST, PAYMENT REQUEST OR PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION DOES NOT BY ITSELF GUARANTEE THAT THE APPLICABLE TRAVEL PRODUCT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED.

A flight should be treated as ticketed after the applicable ticketing process has been successfully completed and confirmation has been provided.

A car rental or cruise reservation should be treated as confirmed after the applicable supplier confirmation process has been completed and confirmation has been provided.

MATERIAL PRICING AND MATERIAL BOOKING CONDITIONS SHOULD BE PRESENTED OR MADE AVAILABLE BEFORE CUSTOMER AUTHORIZATION.

If a material price change occurs before confirmation, the customer should have an opportunity to accept or decline the revised transaction before additional payment is processed.

  • Non-refundable conditions;
  • Limited refundability;
